Success, with success on the side

Played my 3 song set.

Opened with an acoustic version of Close to Me by the Cure. Followed up with an original I *just* wrote for 50/90 called ‘Cutlery’. Had some rambling banter about FAWM and 5090. Then played the last full song I wrote in FAWM called ‘Building Houses’.

People clapped and cheered.

A songwriting duo that lead off the evening came over to me after my set and invited me to play a songwriter’s showcase in September. Thirty+ minute set, and opportunity to network and sell.

Hell. Yes.

Woo!

-M!?

Sad Tom Brady is sad.

Sad Trombone feels appropriate here.

Perfect use of sad trombone.

Poor Tom Brady.  And by ‘Poor Tom Brady’, I mean ‘Hahahahahahahahahahaha’! with a pointing motion in his direction.
